Mountain bike trails around the valley

There are at least four main mountain bike or VTT (Velo Tout Terrain) trails around the Jordanne Valley. They can be followed using a GPS or by using the clearly signed route plaques that give directions where needed. Mandailles is the starting point for some of the trails and has a useful public bike wash centre opposite the tourist information in the centre of the village

The routes are varied in length and difficulty and cover a large area around the Jordanne valley and the hills surrounding Saint Cirgues. We have the four main routes as GPX files which guests can use to follow the tracks.

There are lots of organised VTT events throughout the year some of which attract riders from right across France and Europe. Most have various difficulty routes suitable for all abilities. There are midnight starts and celebrations with entertainment and fireworks for the finish. You can take lessons at Le Lioran ski and mountain centre and follow the trails there around the Plomb du Cantal mountain and forest area.

Follow the paths of the Cantal mountain bike trails and discover beautiful landscapes around Puy Mary, the Lioran ski station or Prat de Bouc, you will be delighted by the beauty of the sites! Video made by Cantal Destination and the company Webcastor.
